ELECTRICIAN

AL's WiFi & ELECTRiC is a 12-person contractor that wires high-end custom homes in the Keys, much of it inside Ocean Reef Club.  The electrical division is growing faster and we need an experienced electrician who can take a house from layout to final without being watched.

What you'd do

• Run residential jobs — new construction and remodels — from layout through rough, trim, and inspection
• Lead a helper or apprentice on site; keep the work clean, on schedule, and to code
• Read plans and coordinate directly with GCs, superintendents, and homeowners
• Handle service and troubleshooting calls when the schedule needs it
• Work alongside our low-voltage crew on the same houses — we do both sides, and the jobs are better for it

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of residential electrical experience, including time running your own jobs
• Strong on the NEC; panels, services, and generator/transfer-switch work a plus
• Steady, takes pride in the work, easy to work beside

Pay and time off

• Salary of $50,000–$70,000 based on experience.  A steady paycheck year-round, not hours that get cut when a job stalls or it rains
• More paid days off than most shops give.
• Every major holiday paid: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's
• One to two weeks off at Christmas, paid, when Ocean Reef closes to contractors
• A few more paid closure days a year for Ocean Reef's car show and other club events
• Weekday schedule; weekend/holiday on-call is a rotation shared across the whole crew
• A small shop where the owner knows your name and the crew eats lunch together most days

Where this goes

We're building an electrical division, not filling a slot. The lead electrician who launched it with us is stepping up to run it. The person we hire now runs jobs under him, leads the helpers, and grows as the division grows.
